What We Do
Founded in June 2002, Team Fredericton is the City's economic operations agency working with the stakeholders including government, the community agencies, the universities and business community. As a collaborative, economic & community development agency, Team Fredericton is responsible for:
Marketing & Promotions - Producing and providing economic-related materials to position Fredericton as a centre of excellence in terms of research & development, innovation and entrepreneurship with a pro business attitude.
Research - Performing research about successful economic and community development initiatives in other jurisdictions, and maintaining an inventory of industry best practices as well as market intelligence on industry, municipalities, and governmental trends.
Special Initiatives - Initiating, supporting, facilitating or participating in special projects, which will have a positive economic development impact on the city. Ideally, these initiatives will have a beginning, middle and end, so as to avoid multi year commitments or any situation where the success of the initiative is dependant on continued financial support.
